The opportunity
Handling tax in such a large, sophisticated organization takes more than just a technical understanding of current tax practices. As a Sales and Use Tax Senior Manager, we will look to you to lead engagements on a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to some very complex issues. As a Senior Manager in Indirect Tax, you will advise on regulatory changes, assess and support compliance and reporting needs for both public and private entities. You’ll develop and implement strategies, operating models, and compliance frameworks to manage indirect taxes throughout the tax lifecycle, increasing operational efficiency and ensuring regulatory requirements are met. Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities for tax optimization, credits and refund recovery, and exposure reduction; managing indirect tax strategies, compliance, remediation processes, controversies, and corrective filings; and supporting tax process review and technology transformation to enhance service offerings.
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, your core purpose is to lead the delivery of complex processes, solutions, and projects, maintaining a strong focus on quality and risk management while navigating operational and organizational dynamics. You’ll be accountable for program and project management, resource planning, and engagement economics, and will provide leadership and direction to teams with broad visibility. This role presents the challenge of solving complex problems, driving innovation, and delivering thought leadership in a dynamic environment. You’ll learn to manage client relationships, revenue generation, and commercial engagements, while developing deep insight into indirect tax best practices. Regular travel required to meet external client needs.
