TargetProcess Adoption Lead

TEKsystems
Hartford, CT

Role Overview

We are seeking a Targetprocess Adoption Lead to own the enterprise rollout, configuration, and long‑term adoption of our strategic portfolio and delivery management platform. This is a highly hands‑on, tool‑centric role responsible for transforming how teams plan, track, and report work across the organization.

This role is ideal for a Release Train Engineer (RTE), Agile Coach, or Tooling Lead who has lived inside Agile tooling, built dashboards and reporting, configured workflows, and driven adoption at scale. You will act as the product owner and evangelist for the platform, bridging governance, delivery, and transformation.

This is not an order‑taking role. We are looking for someone who is curious, transformational, and able to understand the impact of tooling changes across teams, portfolios, and leadership decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Platform Ownership
  • Own the end‑to‑end adoption and optimization of IBM Targetprocess across delivery, portfolio, and leadership teams.
  • Serve as the primary owner and subject‑matter expert for the platform, ensuring it aligns with enterprise strategy and delivery needs.
Configuration & Customization
  • Design and configure custom dashboards, views, workflows, and automations to support Agile delivery, portfolio management, and executive reporting.
  • Translate delivery and portfolio needs into practical, scalable platform configurations.
Data, Reporting & Insights
  • Bridge the data gap by integrating Targetprocess with tools such as Azure DevOps and Apptio One to ensure accurate delivery and financial data.
  • Translate data into insights:
    • Here’s the data → here’s what it shows → here’s what we do next.
  • Build reporting and metrics that support governance, decision‑making, and continuous improvement.
Coaching, Training & Adoption
  • Act as a hands‑on coach and change leader, driving adoption across engineers, product teams, RTEs, and executives.
  • Create training materials, job aids, and workshops to ensure consistent and effective platform usage.
  • Drive user engagement and maturity, not just initial rollout.
Process Improvement & Transformation
  • Continuously assess how the platform is being used and identify opportunities to:
    • Reduce manual updates
    • Improve flow and transparency
    • Align execution with strategic objectives
  • Partner with Agile, PMO, and portfolio leaders to ensure the tool supports enterprise governance and transformation go

Required Experience & Skills

  • Strong experience with Agile delivery and portfolio management tools
    • Targetprocess (preferred)
    • Rally (strong preference due to internal familiarity)
    • Jira (enterprise‑scale usage)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and understanding of tool integrations
  • Hands‑on experience building:
    • Dashboards
    • Metrics
    • Custom workflows
    • Reporting for leadership
  • Practical, working knowledge of:
    • Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
    • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to operate at the intersection of governance, transformation, and delivery
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving and decision‑making ability
  • High technical domain proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or Agile Coach
  • 5+ years in business analysis, project management, or delivery leadership
  • 3+ years of direct Agile (Scrum / Kanban / SAFe) experience
  • Experience in large enterprise environments
  • Insurance industry experience (nice to have)
  • College degree preferred

Why Join

  • Be at the forefront of a large‑scale enterprise Agile and portfolio transformation
  • Own a strategic platform that directly influences execution, visibility, and decision‑making
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to drive real, measurable change
  • High‑impact role with visibility at both delivery and executive levels

Who Will Thrive in This Role

✅ Tool‑forward, hands‑on leaders

✅ RTEs or Agile Coaches who enjoy configuring systems

✅ People who turn data into action
