THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This position is in the Excepted Service "under the authority of Title V, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA)". MajorDuties

This position is located within the Integrated Primary Prevention Section at the Joint Forces Headquarters- State (JFHQ-St) (S/T/DC). Serves as the Integrated Primary Prevention Specialist leading small teams under the direction of the State Integrated Primary Prevention Officer (IPPO). Responsible for executing and providing oversight for the state integrated primary prevention operations. Position provides critical advice, assistance, and technical guidance to the JFHQ-State to include subject matter experts/state and national level councils, committees and working groups and assists the IPPO in response to inquiries. Work involves supervising or performing work required to manage or direct one or more programs, including appropriate supporting social science service organizations.

Education

Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences. Or Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences. Or Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
