Job Description

We are looking for a Systems Integration Technician to build, test, and troubleshoot subassemblies or finished products using layouts, wiring diagrams, and written instructions. You will configure computer clients, servers, and switches in a network environment, ensuring all systems meet quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform system and subassembly inspections to verify quality requirements.
• Assist other personnel in performing Acceptance Test duties with customer representatives.
• Diagnose system or unit problems and suggest and implement production improvements.
• Assist engineers in performing and validating test procedures.
• Build prototype and new design hardware assemblies as required by engineering.

Essential Skills

• Experience in system configuration and testing.
• Proficiency with Windows servers, switches, routers, and electronics.
• Ability to use command prompts, ideally with WIN-PCM or Putty.
• Experience in configuring and testing Windows servers and Cisco switches/routers.
• Experience looming cables through server racks.
• Knowledge of AC/DC electrical system connections and electronic hardware assembly techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree.
• Security+ certification preferred.
• Familiarity with system configuration documentation to assemble and test telecommunications equipment.
• Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Experience loading software applications on client and server computers.

Work Environment

You will be working in an engineering/lab environment focused on configuring voice communication systems. Manufacturing is done in Vienna, Austria, while our team supports the integration of products into server racks to configure overall systems. The team is expanding and currently comprises around 15 members, with two additional facilities to manage multiple programs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with most team members starting at 7:30 am, though some flexibility is allowed depending on the situation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, MD.

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.47/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Columbia,MD.
