Systems Engineer III: 26-00778

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee system integrators and controls vendors on construction sites for compliance and scope adherence.
• Perform limited configuration work, troubleshooting, and hands-on problem resolution.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines including mechanical, civil, and electrical teams.
• Manage project coordination between various trades and stakeholders involved in data center construction.
• Provide controls vendor coordination and management, with a focus on hands-on technical work.

Must Have Skills:

• Hands-on controls experience - Candidates should have directly worked on configuration, testing, and deployment of control systems.
• Data center experience is highly preferred - Experience with control systems specifically in data centers is the top priority.
• Operations-only experience is not sufficient - Candidates who have only operated or monitored systems like BMS/EPMS without hands-on implementation work may not be a good fit.
• Other critical industries (rare cases) - If data center experience is not available, candidates from other critical infrastructure industries (for example power plants, utilities, semiconductor facilities, pharma manufacturing, etc.) may be considered, but only occasionally.

Industry Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 years of controls-related experience, particularly in critical industries (preferably in data centers, buildings; oil & gas, petrochemical, and water treatment industries can also be considered).
