Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCIclearedSystems Architect- SME to support this missionat Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina.

Responsibilities:

As aSystems Architect- SME, you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include:

  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments related to C2ISR Transport Infrastructure systems engineering.
  • Mapsarchitecturesusing DEF models, data flows, and interfaces and leads the architectural design and optimization strategies for the entire C2ISR Transport Infrastructure, defining innovative approaches for system performance, technological interoperability, and mission effectiveness.
  • Architects fully integrated "turn-key" AISR Transport Infrastructure Gateway installations, ensuring seamless integration of RF terminal solutions, OEM-specific components, and network connectivity.
  • Providesexpert technical insights and strategic guidance foridentifyingand implementing advanced technological solutions to address emerging mission requirements and infrastructure challenges.
  • Functions as a technical expert in enterprise architecture, baseline strategies, and operational requirements for supported AISR assets, driving modernization efforts.
  • Plans and leads major architectural assignments, evaluating performance results and recommending significant changes affecting short-term project growth and long-term system evolution.
  • Designs, develops, and provides strategic oversight for MBSE and Digital Engineering Framework (DEF), ensuring seamless integration of digital engineeringprinciples, tools, and processes to support enterprise-level system architecture, enhance operational efficiency, and drive mission-critical decision-making
  • Utilizes the followingRole Specific Tools: EA frameworks (DoDAF, TOGAF, Digital Engineering);IaC(RH AAP, Helm, Rancher Fleet); system modeling (Cameo,Sparx, System Architect, Jira, wiki); requirements management (DOORS, Jama Connect); configuration management (Ansible, Terraform, CMDB);; service desk and ticketing (ServiceNow); network diagramming (Visio,Lucidchart); routing protocol simulators (BGP/MBGP/MSDP/BFD labs); cloud orchestration tools (Azure Arc, AWS Console,milCloud2.0,, Grizzly Cloud 2.0,); SATCOM monitoring (L3 Harris SRVT, ViaSat portals); latency measurement (Wireshark, TS Reader); backup and disaster recovery (Veeam, Commvault).

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Previousexperience asaSystems Architector similar rolesupporting a DoD customer at the CCMDlevel
  • Minimum of12years’experiencewith BS/BA, or10years’ experiencewith MS/MA, or7years’ experiencewith PhD. OR 16 years without a degree OR 14 years with AS/AA
  • A current, active DoD security clearanceat the TS/SCI level
  • US citizenship isrequired
  • DOD 8140 Compliance based on functional role for WRC: 451 Systems Administrator, Advanced Level / ability to obtain

DesiredQualifications:

  • Must complete DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.

Work Environment:

  • Location: Pope Army Airfield, NC
  • On-site expectations: Full-time on-site presencerequiredfor equipment management and asset tracking
  • Travel: May require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites forlogisticscoordination and facility assessments

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
