Key Responsibilities

Systems Administration

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) across physical and virtual infrastructure
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related directory services
  • Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability — proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations
  • Manage virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Support Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and hybrid identity environments
  • Perform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management across the server environment
  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring integrity and recoverability of critical systems

ITSM & Service Management (ServiceNow / Ivanti)

  • Administer and support the organization's ITSM platform (ServiceNow or Ivanti) including incident, change, and asset management workflows
  • Build and maintain service catalog items, workflows, and automation rules within the ITSM platform
  • Manage and resolve tickets within SLA requirements, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-through
  • Collaborate with the helpdesk and infrastructure teams to improve ticket routing, escalation paths, and resolution workflows
  • Generate reports and dashboards from the ITSM platform to support operational visibility and continuous improvement


Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on Windows Systems Administration experience in an enterprise environment
  • Strong proficiency with Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022) administration and troubleshooting
  • Solid experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP management
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or Ivanti for ITSM operations (incident management, change management, asset tracking, or workflow automation)
  • Experience with VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V virtualization
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and hybrid identity (Azure AD / Entra ID)
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles, patch management, and access control best practices
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
