Desktop Support / Systems Engineer (Onsite)
Location: Miami, FL (Onsite – 5 days per week)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support a fast-paced, business-critical environment. This role combines senior end-user support, systems administration, and infrastructure support, with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and responsiveness. The ideal candidate has experience supporting financial or high-availability environments, is comfortable working fully onsite, and can operate independently while collaborating with cross-functional IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced desktop and end-user support in a high-touch, onsite environment
- Administer and support Windows 11 and Windows Server (2016–2022) environments
- Manage SCCM for software deployment, patching, and system monitoring
- Support and administer Microsoft Azure services including Azure AD and virtual machines
- Manage Microsoft Intune for device and application management (MDM/MAM)
- Support Microsoft Exchange (Online and On-Premises), including mailbox and routing administration
- Administer SharePoint sites, permissions, and content organization
- Support and manage Apple devices using Apple Business Manager
- Assist with Cisco infrastructure, including ISE (read-only), CUCM, and unified communications tools
- Support Citrix DaaS / Citrix Workspace environments
- Administer and troubleshoot email and endpoint security tools (e.g., Proofpoint, CrowdStrike)
- Provide support for video conferencing and collaboration systems
- Support business-critical and industry-specific applications (e.g., market data and trading platforms)
- Manage asset inventory, hardware lifecycle tracking, and documentation
- Use monitoring and asset tools such as Grafana and Lansweeper
- Utilize Jira and Confluence for ticketing, documentation, and knowledge sharing
- Support VPN and secure remote-access solutions
- Deliver responsive, professional support to executives and high-priority users
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in desktop support, systems administration, or similar roles
- Strong Windows, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management experience
- Hands-on experience with SCCM, Intune, Exchange, and Azure
- Familiarity with Citrix, Cisco voice/communication systems, and endpoint security tools
- Experience supporting high-availability or regulated environments is strongly preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working fully onsite in a fast-paced environment

- 12-month contract with potential permanent hire in 2027
- Fully onsite, Monday–Friday
