Responsibilities

  • Perform topographical surveys, boundary surveys, utility surveys, and construction layout using appropriate surveying methods and equipment.
  • Collect precise field data using surveying instruments, GPS equipment, and related technology for use in survey preparation.

Work Environment

The typical workday runs from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with reporting directly to the job site for field work. The role primarily involves working outdoors on active project sites, including in harsh or varying weather conditions, using surveying equipment, GPS instruments, and related tools. When weather conditions prevent field work, time is spent in the office performing CAD work, including drafting and design in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The company offers a collaborative, team-oriented culture with a strong emphasis on long-term growth for early-career professionals. Team members enjoy a supportive atmosphere with regular team-building activities such as attending sporting events, team barbecues, and participation in a softball league.
