Surgical Technology Program Director

We are seeking a dynamic Surgical Technology Program Director to lead and oversee our surgical technology program. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing our surgical technology program to ensure excellence in training future healthcare professionals. Your leadership will foster a collaborative learning environment, uphold accreditation standards and promote continuous improvement in curriculum quality and clinical partnerships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of surgical technologists while ensuring compliance with healthcare management standards and best practices.

Duties.

• Manage faculty recruitment, development, and evaluation to maintain high-quality instruction and mentorship for students.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with clinical sites to provide students with diverse hands-on training experiences in real-world settings.
• Ensure program compliance with accreditation standards, maintaining rigorous documentation and quality assurance processes.
• Monitor student progress, provide academic advising, and facilitate success through supportive interventions.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing program outcomes, implementing enhancements, and staying current with advancements in surgical technology education.

Requirements

• A minimum of an Associates Degree from a qualified Institution.
• Certified Surgical Technologist from a nationally recognized and accredited credentialing agency.
• A minimum of three years of operating room experience in the scrub role within the last five years, or three years teaching in the field of surgical technology prior to employment
