The Surgical Technologist supports a high-performing cardiovascular surgical team by preparing and maintaining a safe, sterile operating environment and serving as an essential partner in complex surgical procedures. This role focuses on maintaining aseptic technique, managing the sterile field from setup through closure, and supporting surgeons and nurses during a variety of cardiovascular and other specialty surgeries. Responsibilities
This role is based in a 106-bed acute-care hospital recognized for high performance and strong patient satisfaction, offering a collaborative and high-performance surgical environment where technologists are valued partners in care delivery. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The position includes weekday on-call coverage beginning after the scheduled shift at 7:00 p.m. and ending at 7:00 a.m. the following morning, as well as weekend on-call shifts from 7:00 a.m. Saturday to 7:00 a.m. Sunday or 7:00 a.m. Sunday to 7:00 a.m. Monday, with a 30-minute response time requirement. On-call time and any call-in hours are compensated at an enhanced rate. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
