Surgical Technologist

SpineSearch is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join a dynamic surgical center in Nassau County, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity for a surgical tech with strong multi-specialty experience to work alongside top surgeons in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile and organized operating room for a variety of surgical procedures
• Set up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment prior to procedures
• Assist surgeons during operations in ophthalmology
• Provide intraoperative support during robotic-assisted surgeries
• Monitor and uphold patient safety standards during procedures, including responding to emergent situations
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth, efficient procedural flow
• Clean, sterilize, and restock surgical instruments and supplies post-procedure

What We’re Looking For:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ophthalmology preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, infection control, and operating room protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced surgical setting
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and assisting with equipment setup and patient positioning
