Job Details:

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1 week of late shifts every 3 weeks)
  • Location: Lutherville, MD 21093
  • Job Type: Travel contract / local contract
  • Contract Length: 3 months
  • Local's Pay Range: $35 - $41/hour (*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.)
  • Travel Pay Range: $1600 - $1800/Week (*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.)


Duties:

  • Scrub and assist during surgical procedures across multiple service lines including ENT, Urology, GI, Orthopedics, Plastics, Cataracts, and General Surgery
  • Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments, and surgical equipment
  • Anticipate surgeon and team needs to ensure efficient surgical workflow
  • Assist with patient preparation and positioning while maintaining safety and comfort
  • Ensure compliance with infection control policies and surgical protocols


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
  • Minimum 2+ years of Operating Room (OR) Technician experience – Required
  • Experience in specialties including Plastics, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Colorectal, and GYN – Required
  • BLS Certification – Required
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program – Required
  • Ability to work with both adult and pediatric patient populations
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills
