This team requiresstrong communicationskillstoliaison between surgeons and clients and deliverpost-operative careinstructions. Whatyou’lldo:
Manage appointments,obtainpatienthistories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges,etc
Fill medications, enter charges andmaintainaccuratemedical records, schedule appointments
Create patient releases, navigate client conversations around treatment plans and financial obligations
Prep patientsfor surgery, including shaving,scrubbingand positioning,assistingwith intubation and radiographs
Proficiently perform blooddrawsandsubmitbloodwork
Ensure documentation isaccurateand complete
Opening, turning over and cleaning operating rooms, as well as cleaning instruments and wrapping packs
Proficientincalculations(drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours when necessary
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess a Veterinary Medication Clerk License or the ability to obtain one upon receiving an offer of employment

Compensation:This position has an initial hiring range of $20.75 to $31.00 per hour based on skillset and experience. We support our weekend and overnight caregivers with lucrative shift differentials:
Hours worked between 8pm and 11:59pm = base pay + $2/hour
Hours worked between 12am to 7:59am = base pay + $3/hour
Hours worked on Weekends (day or night) = base pay +$1/hour + any applicable differential
