Supply Chain Manager

Sterling Engineering is partnering with a plastics packaging manufacturer to hire a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations at a key production facility. This is a high-impact role focused on driving performance, improving processes, and ensuring reliable delivery to customers.

This role is fully onsite. The company is open to relocation and offers a relocation bonus to support the move.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead all supply chain functions including planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics
• Ensure consistent supply of raw materials and on-time delivery of finished goods
• Manage and develop a supply chain team focused on On-Time Complete (OTC) performance
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools such as Kanban, 5S, and pull systems
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance
• Lead cost reduction initiatives and optimize purchasing strategies
• Maintain food safety compliance within supply chain operations

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or materials management
• Background in a manufacturing environment
• Strong ERP system experience
• Experience with Lean methodologies preferred
• APICS certification is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $110,000-$125,000 + 15% annual bonus
