Supply Chain Manager
Location: Chicago, IL (On-site)
Compensation: $115,000 – $135,000 base + bonus

About the Role
We’re working with a growing manufacturing company looking to bring on a Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations. This individual will be responsible for driving efficiency across procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution while supporting production and customer delivery goals.
This is a highly visible role working directly with operations, production, and leadership, with a mix of strategic planning and hands-on execution.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the full supply chain lifecycle from sourcing raw materials through delivery of finished goods
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies focused on cost reduction, efficiency, and on-time delivery
- Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, performance tracking, and issue resolution
- Oversee inventory planning and management to balance service levels and working capital
- Lead demand planning and forecasting efforts in partnership with sales and operations
- Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Track and report on key supply chain metrics (OTIF, inventory turns, cost savings, lead times)
- Identify risks across the supply chain and develop mitigation plans to ensure continuity
- Drive process improvements across procurement, logistics, and production planning
- Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, finance, and customer service to align supply with demand
What We’re Looking For
- 6–10+ years of supply chain experience, preferably within manufacturing or distribution
- Strong background in procurement, inventory planning, and logistics
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
- Ability to analyze data and drive decisions around cost, inventory, and service levels
- Proven experience managing suppliers and negotiating contracts
- Leadership experience or ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred
