Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Associate
Location: New Brunswick, NJ (50% Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Standard Business Hours
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Associate to support end-to-end supply chain activities including order processing, invoicing, logistics coordination, and SAP transactions. This role acts as a key link between customers, internal teams, and third-party manufacturing and distribution partners in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage order entry, order processing, and invoicing in SAP
- Coordinate with logistics providers and freight forwarders for domestic and international shipments
- Prepare and validate shipping and export documentation (BOL, commercial invoices, packing lists)
- Support import/export compliance and assist with customs documentation
- Resolve order, shipment, and invoice discrepancies with internal teams and vendors
- Process supplier invoices and follow up on pricing/payment issues
- Maintain accurate records to ensure audit readiness and data integrity
- Run operational reports and support month-end financial activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, QC, and external partners
- Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and company policies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or order management
- Hands-on experience with SAP (APO/ECC preferred) or similar ERP systems
- Experience with order processing, invoicing, and shipment coordination
- Knowledge of import/export processes, customs, and trade compliance
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated industry
- Familiarity with Good Distribution Practices (GDP)
- Experience working in a multinational supply chain environment
