Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst – IT Logistics

Locations: Fremont, CA (5 days onsite)

Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of extensions)


Experience Required: 5+ years


We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Supply Chain Analyst to support logistics and warehouse operations by driving process improvements through industrial engineering and Lean principles. This role partners closely with warehouse operations, process engineering, transportation teams, and third‑party vendors to improve efficiency, capacity, quality, cost, and safety across end‑to‑end supply chain workflows.


This is an onsite role based in Fremont, CA, with frequent collaboration at a warehouse location in Newark, CA.


Top Must‑Have Skills


Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to read and write SQL queries, perform root cause analysis, and build dashboards for operational insights

Supply Chain & Logistics Experience: Proven experience supporting logistics, warehouse, or IT asset supply chain operations

Vendor Communication: Strong communication skills working with multiple vendors and cross‑functional stakeholders, with a proactive and learning‑oriented mindset


Core Competencies:

  • Solid understanding of Lean and continuous improvement concepts, including: Cycle time, 8 wastes, Root cause analysis, Just‑in‑Time (JIT), 5S, DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control)
  • Ability to create clear process flow maps and SOP documentation
  • Experience conducting cycle time and time‑and‑motion studies
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • High attention to detail and ability to quickly grasp complex technical processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Tools & Technical Skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
  • Intermediate proficiency with collaboration and productivity tools (documents, spreadsheets, slides, forms)
  • Experience building data visualizations and dashboards (e.g., Tableau or equivalent BI tools)


Nice‑to‑Have Skills

  • Background in process engineering or industrial engineering
  • Experience with vendor contracts or supplier performance management
  • Strong self‑starter mindset with a track record of taking initiative and driving improvements


Responsibilities

  • Partner with Process Engineers to develop, improve, and deploy new warehouse processes that enhance efficiency, inventory accuracy, and data visibility
  • Support the design and implementation of workstation layouts to improve space utilization and reduce cycle time
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to identify bottlenecks, resolve constraints, and support daily process escalations
  • Conduct time studies and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using formal change management practices
  • Improve workstation safety, ergonomics, and compliance with operational standards
  • Act as a liaison between internal operations teams and third‑party vendors; track actions, follow up on deliverables, and manage escalations
  • Support process improvement initiatives through data analysis, process mapping, and recommendations for system or workflow enhancements
  • Respond to ad hoc stakeholder requests, including reporting, root cause analysis, and operational metrics
  • Pull and analyze data from multiple sources; convert insights into clear, story‑driven charts and dashboards
  • Assist with solution testing, issue debugging, documentation, and validation of data outputs
  • Review dashboards and reports to provide data‑driven insights that support decision‑making
