  • OIT Mission: The mission of the Office of Information and Technology (OIT) is to collaborate with our business partners to create the best experience for all Veterans. Major Duties: Supervises and directs staff responsible for enterprise-level infrastructure engineering activities in several critical areas within Core Infrastructure Engineering Services: Client Services, Architecture and Design, Business Systems Engineering, and Core Infrastructure Services. Provides staff supervision and technical oversight of EIE activities including services of core IT expertise areas; candidate solution analyses; solution design synthesis; solution design integration. trade-off analyses; technical risk analyses and management; solution acquisition preparation. analysis and evaluation of quality attributes and requirement criteria. and technology governance review. Provides mastery technical oversight to critical , enterprise-level projects that are national in scope, and contributes to VA mission by shaping the underlying IT architecture for the delivery of integrated services to veterans. Provides mastery technical oversight to the development of exceptionally complex information to allow technically sound IT investment decisions that map to capital planning. Provides mastery technical oversight of Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) analyses of end-to-end solutions.
