Supervisor - Sterile Processing

Central Services includes all sterile processing activities and customers but are not limited to, Surgical Services, Labor and Delivery, GI, Interventional Services, hospital clinics, and outside vendors. The Supervisor is responsible for performing a variety of duties associated with the efficient operation of Central Services in order to ensure high quality product delivery and efficient service to customers.

Required qualifications:

• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire
• 4 years of progressive work-related experience in sterile processing or surgical services with at least two years in a leadership role

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in focus in healthcare or business or equivalent education/experience (1:1) will substitute for each year of college not completed
• Successful completion of a Central Service technician course preferred or Central Service work history
• Certified Healthcare Leader - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire or Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire
• Demonstrated prior experience working with an instrument tracking system
• Experience working in a union environment is an advantage
