Superintendent – New Installation & Modernization
Lunova Group is partnering with a leading service and construction organization to identify an experienced Superintendent to lead installation and modernization projects in the York, PA area. This role oversees field operations, manages crews and subcontractors, drives project schedules, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
We're interested in speaking with candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including commercial construction, HVAC, mechanical contracting, building systems, industrial construction, and elevator modernization/installation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise field employees and subcontractors across multiple projects
- Plan manpower, schedules, and project execution activities
- Conduct regular jobsite visits focused on safety, quality, and productivity
- Manage project progress, budgets, and customer expectations
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities
- Review and approve change orders and project documentation
- Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Identify and resolve project challenges to keep work on schedule
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a Superintendent, Project Manager, Construction Manager, or similar field role
- Experience managing commercial construction, mechanical, HVAC, industrial, or modernization projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with project scheduling and project management tools
