Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Superintendent and oversee exciting commercial construction projects in the Capital Region. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of diverse projects, ranging from commercial, hospitality, entertainment to manufacturing. If you have a strong experience in commercial construction and are ready to lead with precision and dedication, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Ensure quality control, making necessary decisions to maintain high standards on site.
• Oversee daily operations, including schedule creation, project meetings, and issue resolution.
• Communicate effectively with the project team and subcontractors.
• Maintain a focus on health and safety standards on site.
• Document daily activities with strong attention to detail.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of construction experience, preferably in commercial and industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of skilled trades and construction processes.
• Proficient in using Procore for project management and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in multi-family construction or apartment buildings is advantageous.
• An associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
• Experience in carpentry or similar trades is beneficial.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards is essential.

Work Environment

Work five days a week, approximately 10 hours a day, primarily from a trailer on-site. The role requires travel within a two-hour radius of the Capital Region. Be prepared for early starts, typically starting at 6:30 AM, and some Saturdays as needed. The position involves working closely with a union contractor, maintaining strong accountability and a hands-on approach with subcontractors.

This is a Permanent position based out of Troy, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

Truck allowance, Medical benefits, Will cover expenses if traveling

This is a fully onsite position in Troy,NY.
