We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on ground-up and tenant improvement commercial projects. This role is responsible for coordinating all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, including ground-up builds and interior build-outs
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel across multiple trades
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules, including 3-week lookaheads
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and OSHA regulations
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality control and compliance with plans and specifications
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to align field execution with project goals and budgets
  • Lead subcontractor meetings and daily site briefings
  • Identify and proactively resolve field issues, conflicts, and delays
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and progress documentation
  • Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local codes and permitting requirements


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
  • Proven track record managing projects such as office, retail, industrial, healthcare, or multifamily developments
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction practices, sequencing, and safety standards
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites


Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification (required or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with ground-up commercial construction projects valued at $5M+
  • LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable building practices
  • Background in fast-paced, multi-project environments
