Are you an experienced Healthcare Construction Superintendent with a passion for delivering complex renovation projects in active hospital environments?


We are partnering with a leading healthcare-focused general contractor that specializes in hospital renovations across South Florida. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to lead field operations on several critical healthcare projects.


You’ll join a well-structured team where Project Managers handle client relations, administration, scheduling, and project controls, allowing you to focus on what you do best by driving field execution, leading subcontractors, maintaining safety standards, and delivering exceptional project outcomes. You will take ownership of daily site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards within occupied healthcare facilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all field operations on healthcare renovation projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and daily site activities.
  • Develop and manage short-term look-ahead schedules.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with contract documents and quality standards.
  • Implement and enforce infection control protocols and life safety requirements.
  • Coordinate shutdowns, utility interruptions, and critical project phasing.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and site inspections.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports.
  • Participate in project planning, logistics, and phasing meetings.
  • Support AHCA inspections and project closeout activities.


What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 7 years of healthcare or hospital renovation experience.
  • Proven experience working within occupied healthcare facilities.
  • Strong understanding of infection control barriers, ICRA requirements & Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
  • Procore or similar construction management software is advantageous.


We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience delivering healthcare construction projects, especially those involving Emergency Department renovations, patient room renovations, Operating Room renovations, imaging and diagnostic facilities, infrastructure and MEP upgrades and other AHCA-regulated healthcare construction projects.
