Salary: $130K + Benefits

We are partnering with a reputable General Contractor to hire an experienced Superintendent to oversee a ground-up assisted living project in Bergen County.

This role offers the chance to take full ownership of a high-profile build, with strong prospects for continued work on future developments. While prior healthcare or assisted living experience is preferred, candidates with solid ground-up commercial construction backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all on-site construction operations on a daily basis
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and overall site logistics
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and client representatives
• Oversee inspections, reporting, and site documentation
• Drive the project from initial groundwork through final completion

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
• Strong background in ground-up construction is essential
• Proven ability to manage fast-paced job sites with multiple trades
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in healthcare or assisted living projects is advantageous but not required
