Overview

The position of Summer Help-Cleanup Crew has a primary function to assist with seasonal clean up activities, lawn maintenance, and outdoor/indoor facility maintenance projects. The individual in this position may work at times in the Sawmill and Planer and will be asked to perform the following tasks; general facility clean up including picking up slabs, sticks, sawdust, chips off lower mill floors, and assist with dust mitigation to eliminate safety and fire hazards. In addition to the clean up duties, seasonal personnel may be asked perform other entry level jobs to assist with production.

Work schedule: Tuesday-Friday, Day Shift (3:00 AM to 1:30 PM, must be flexible as needed). Wage is $23.34 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Outdoor facility clean up, lawn care, and maintenance projects
  • Pick up slabs, sticks, sawdust, and chips off lower mill floors
  • Assist with dust mitigation
  • Maintain a safe environment andcomply with allsafety policies and procedures
  • Apply good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe

Qualifications

  • Students are encouraged to apply and will be given priority. (Must be 18 years of age)
  • Completion ofhigh-school or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Laborer experience preferred but not required
  • Must be able to safely work at a moderate to fast pace
  • Lifting is 20-30 pounds on a continuous basis
  • Must be willing to learn new skills
  • Be a team player and self-starter

Located in the heart of the Cowlitz Valley, the Randle plant employs over 150 team members, many of which have worked here for decades.
