Job Title: General Camp Counselor - SEASONAL position

Duration: 7 weeks on site; 1 week of orientation and 6 weeks of camp

Location: Camp Akiba, Stroudsburg PA

Responsibilities

Live with, supervise and support campers ages 8–13
Build strong relationships and encourage campers to make friends
Assist with hygiene routines, transitions, bunk clean-up, and mealtimes
Participate in daily camp activities, special events and evening programs
Be a positive role model in attitude, behavior, spirit and communication
Collaborate with your co-counselors and staff team to deliver the best experience possible

Qualifications

Responsible, patient, and emotionally intelligent
Enthusiastic team player who’s flexible and proactive
Experience working with kids (as a babysitter, coach, mentor, or in a camp setting) is a plus
