About the Role
As a member of our Summer Camp team, you will provide supervision and instruction to campers enrolled in the summer camp or other seasonal camp programs at SOAR365. You will be responsible for assisting campers with activities of daily living, including but not limited to toileting and other personal care, eating, dressing, bathing, and ambulation/mobility. Your people skills will come in handy and will help you to maintain fantastic professional relationships with your fellow team members and those that we serve.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
In this role, you will be responsible forproviding supervision and assistance to campers during program activities, ensuring each camper is actively involved and has the opportunity to participate. Responsibilities include serving as cabin watch for overnight duty according to an assigned schedule and completing all required documentation, such as behavioral reports, incident records, and hygiene logs. Additionally, the role requires attendance at all staff meetings and training sessions, including orientation, while assisting with camper laundry, camp cleanup, and any other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualified candidates willhave a minimum of one to two years of college and experience in fields such as special education, psychology, recreation, or therapy. While not required, prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to lead both small and large groups of campers and successfully implement activities following lesson plans and leadership direction. Additionally, a strong knowledge of camp programs and activities is preferred.
