Job Title: Substation/Utility Engineer

Pay Rate: $46.37/hr
Job Description:
Minimum Years of Experience: 1-2 years experience
• Support the Senior Engineer in analyzing Programmable Electronic Devices (PEDs) and cyber assets within Transmission Substations in accordance with NERC CIP Standards.
• Assist with review and analysis of Substation single line drawings, Grid Control Center drawings, and network diagrams to identify and classify Bulk Electric System (BES) Cyber Assets.
• Support identification and documentation of Electronic Security Perimeters (ESPs) under the direction of the Senior Engineer.
• Contribute to Engineering Evaluation workbooks and supporting documentation for NERC CIP asset determinations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support NERC CIP compliance tasks, evidence development, and engineering assessments.
• Shadow Senior Engineer activities to gain hands on exposure to NERC CIP compliance, regulatory interpretation, and audit support, building readiness to assume increased responsibility over time.
