Plan, implement, and coordinate comprehensive Student Life programs and events by managing budgets, ordering and procuring supplies, supervising full-time, part-time and work-study staff, and fully overseeing the operations of campus Fuel Pantries, including inventory management, distribution, and organization. Collaborate with other departments to advance college-wide goals for Student Success and Engagement, will work primarily at West and Northeast Campuses, and will be responsible for departmental logistic needs, including helping support Student Organization purchasing and coordinating bookings for the Mascot Program.Oversee all aspects of student programming, including program development, budgeting, supply procurement and distribution, facilities coordination and event logistics, staffing and supervision, food service, marketing and promotion, check-in management, and data collection and reporting to ensure high-quality and engaging student experiences.
Provide comprehensive supervision of full-time specialists, part-time employees, and Federal workstudy staff, including onboarding and HR paperwork, hiring, training on student engagement and event management, ongoing supervision, scheduling, and timesheet approval to ensure effective workforce management and compliance with institutional policies.
Provide executive oversight of all Student Union operations, strategically coordinating with ABM and Facilities to address maintenance and operational needs, managing room reservations and faculty/staff requests, and delivering exceptional customer service to students, staff, and external vendors to ensure a safe, seamless, and highly functional environment that enriches the student experience.
The Student Life Program Coordinator will work primarily at West and Northeast Campuses and will be responsible for departmental logistic needs, including helping support Student Organization purchasing and coordinating bookings for the Mascot Program.
Lead and manage all Student Life marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, content creation, and mascot-driven outreach, to boost student engagement, promote programs, and enhance the campus community experience.
Provide strategic oversight and management of all Student Life office operations, including frontline student services, ID production, scheduling coordination, procurement and inventory management, program administration, and issue resolution to ensure an efficient, student-centered environment that advances institutional engagement and success.
Provide comprehensive student support by guiding students to campus resources, connecting them with student organizations, and offering information on ways to engage and participate in campus life to foster connection and involvement.
Serve as the lead for campus Fuel Pantry operations, providing strategic oversight of staff training, procurement and inventory management, food rotation, and the organization of pantry items and essential supplies to ensure a highly efficient, accessible, and impactful resource that supports student well-being and success.
Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with faculty and departments across campus by codesigning programs, facilitating engagement initiatives, offering information on campus resources and student opportunities, and leading high-impact recurring events such as monthly Food on the Move distributions and weekly BCM meals.
Provide leadership for Commencement activities, serving on the Commencement Committee and directing on-site operations for all ceremonies to ensure seamless, high-quality events that celebrate student achievement.Bachelor’s degree bachelor’s degree in higher education, student affairs, educational leadership, or a related field, with experience in student services, program coordination, and/or campus engagement.
3 years experience in student services, Student Life, or a related field, demonstrating the ability to support student development, coordinate programs, and foster engagement on campus.
Excellence in both verbal and written communication, with the ability to convey information clearly, persuasively, and professionally to all audiences.
Ability to work on a team.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Ability to travel between TCC campuses.
Ability to handle the physical demands of event management, including transporting and moving items, and standing for extended periods during events.Experience working with students from a wide range of backgrounds in a community college setting.
