Student Advisor

As a Student Advisor,for a certifiedGreat Place to Work,you will guideprospective students to do more than change their own lives – you will help change the lives of every patient they eventually treat. On their path towards a career in healthcare - you will identify and supportthose who need additional assistance to be successful and work to proactively address areas of concern as they strive to achieve their educational goals. As an integral member of our Student Advising team, youwill help expand our educational impactin the healthcare field and our students’ communities.

You will make an impact by:

• Collaborate and partner with Academic, FA, Admissions, Registrar and other University departments on campus to service students in a holistic and comprehensive manner to ensure students are provided advising and support resources across administrative, co-curricular, and academic areas.
• Coordinate, facilitate and participate in student outreach activities, services, and processes in the areas of learning and retention strategies, advising, campus life to enhance student satisfaction and support successful student outcomes.
• Educate students on university policy and procedures, and program requirements, ensuring consistent, and accurate information is identified, shared, and applied.
• Utilize and maintain a comprehensive tracking and reporting system for all students identified as at-risk by implementing, monitoring, and utilizing early warning and intervention strategies.

Your Experience Includes:

• Minimum of one-year previous experience in student services.
• Experience with MS Office, data entry and multi-tasking.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required.
