  • Senior Stress Engineer: 11+ years

Customer Program: Support for Spirit AeroSystems / Boeing

Program Details

This role supports Boeing aircraft programs including:

  • Boeing 737 (primarily metallic structure)
  • Boeing 777 (hybrid structure)
  • Boeing 787 (primarily composite structure)

Experience with Boeing processes (Book 1, Book 2, Book 3) is a strong plus.

Candidates must have hands-on experience in Static and Fatigue analysis.

Role Overview – MRB Stress Engineer

The Stress Engineer will assess and approve structural repairs for aerospace non-conformities (in-service components). The role focuses on maintaining structural integrity while minimizing production delays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural impact analysis on aircraft components
  • Conduct static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses
  • Develop and validate repair solutions in compliance with FAA/EASA/FAR standards
  • Review and approve engineering drawings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, materials, manufacturing)
  • Support production teams in resolving structural issues
  • Document engineering justifications and reports
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related field)
  • 5–10 years (Intermediate) OR 11+ years (Senior) in aerospace stress analysis
  • Experience with metallic and/or composite aircraft structures
  • FEM/FEA experience in the aircraft industry
  • Proficiency in PATRAN, NASTRAN
  • Knowledge of static and fatigue analysis
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight schedules

Experience with DTA tools (CRPR for DADT analysis) is a plus but not mandatory.
