Program Details
This role supports Boeing aircraft programs including:
- Boeing 737 (primarily metallic structure)
- Boeing 777 (hybrid structure)
- Boeing 787 (primarily composite structure)
Experience with Boeing processes (Book 1, Book 2, Book 3) is a strong plus.
Candidates must have hands-on experience in Static and Fatigue analysis.
Role Overview – MRB Stress Engineer
The Stress Engineer will assess and approve structural repairs for aerospace non-conformities (in-service components). The role focuses on maintaining structural integrity while minimizing production delays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural impact analysis on aircraft components
- Conduct static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses
- Develop and validate repair solutions in compliance with FAA/EASA/FAR standards
- Review and approve engineering drawings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, materials, manufacturing)
- Support production teams in resolving structural issues
- Document engineering justifications and reports
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related field)
- 5–10 years (Intermediate) OR 11+ years (Senior) in aerospace stress analysis
- Experience with metallic and/or composite aircraft structures
- FEM/FEA experience in the aircraft industry
- Proficiency in PATRAN, NASTRAN
- Knowledge of static and fatigue analysis
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight schedules
Experience with DTA tools (CRPR for DADT analysis) is a plus but not mandatory.
