As a Strategy Senior Associate within our Marketing Growth & Innovation (“MG&I”) team in Card & Connected Commerce, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to set and track strategic objectives, support high-priority initiatives, and bring our strategy to life through scalable frameworks and disciplined execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is eager to make a meaningful impact.

Job responsibilities

 

  • Help develop and drive MG&I’s strategic priorities

  • Serve as an objective thought partner to leadership and influence decision making to advance top business priorities

  • Support critical strategic initiatives from strategy to execution 

  • Help craft and execute MG&I’s transformation agenda and ensure accountability and follow-through

  • Independently scope and structure cross-functional projects with clear objectives, milestones and workstreams

  • Help define and maintain the framework for tracking and measuring the team’s ongoing success

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 

  • 4+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, strategic finance, or similar roles

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to structure and break down complex problems, synthesize diverse information, and develop actionable insights and recommendations

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly and persuasively convey complex ideas; advanced storytelling abilities demonstrated through compelling PowerPoint presentations and proficient use of Excel

  • Strong relationship builder comfortable collaborating with and influencing leadership

  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to develop subject matter expertise in new subjects quickly

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Experience working in financial services
