The role is ideal for a top-tier consultant or strategic operator looking to transition into an operating environment. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, structured, and execution-oriented – comfortable moving between board-level strategy and hands-on operational work. This role offers significant exposure to the CEO, the Executive Leadership Team, and private equity sponsors, with a clear career path to expanded responsibility.

Responsibilities:

CEO & Board Level Strategy

  • Partner with the CEO and Chief of Staff to shape enterprise strategy, annual planning, and multi-year value creation initiatives.
  • Own development of monthly, quarterly, and annual board and investor materials, including narratives, analytics and executive-ready recommendations.
  • Ensure board and executive discussions are decision-oriented, well-framed, and grounded in data.
  • Track commitments, action items, and governance decisions to ensure closure and accountability.

Executive & Strategic Support

  • Prepare executive and board materials (e.g. strategy decks, operating reviews, KPI dashboards).
  • Conduct market, customer and competitive analyses to inform leadership decisions.

Operating Cadence & Execution

  • Support the company’s operating rhythm (annual planning, quarterly reviews, executive meetings)
  • Prepare materials for executive discussions, including KPI dashboards, operating reviews, and strategy updates
  • Ensure follow-ups and decisions are executed across teams
  • Identify and address gaps in governance, execution rigor, and management processes.

Cross-Functional Program Management

  • Partner across Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations to drive alignment
  • Act as a connector across functions, ensuring priorities are clearly communicated and executed

Analytics & Insights

  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions
  • Build business cases and support investment decisions with clear ROI logic
  • Translate data into actionable insights in partnership with Finance and RevOps

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 3-7 years of experience in management consulting (MBB or top-tier firm preferred), strategy, operations, or high-growth SaaS environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, ambiguous initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High ownership mindset with strong follow-through.

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, ERP, vertical software, or industrial/heavy equipment markets.
  • Exposure to private equity-backed companies or board environments.
  • Experience working on cross-functional or transformation initiatives
