Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Akkodis is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist for a 06+ months contract with a client located in Tempe AZ

Pay Range: $45/hr. - $55/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Summary:

We are hiring experienced Sourcing Specialists with strong negotiation skills and a business-driven mindset. In this role, you will support global supply base management, ensure compliance and data accuracy in supplier contract systems, and contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams worldwide.

Roles & Responsibilities

Commodity Specialist Responsibilities

• Perform commodity management and supplier negotiations.
• Draft, route for signature, and upload NDAs (Nondisclosure Agreements).
• Draft Unilateral Letters, Novation’s, Assignments, and Assumptions in partnership with Legal & Contracts.
• Review contract Amendments to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to signature.

Compliance Package Activities

• Prepare and submit complete compliance packages, including:
• ETRs (Extended Terms Requests)
• Pulling FAIRs
• Supplier scorecards
• SAP updates (MOQ, price validation, contract validation, VMI validation)
• FRPJ (Fair and Reasonable Price Justification)

RFQ & Master Data Management

• Compile and send RFQ packages, including drawing distribution.
• Process Vendor Master and Material Master changes and additions.
• Pull and validate part demand and historical receipt data.
• Upload required documentation into contract management tools.

Analytical & Support Activities

• Initiate SCE (Should Cost Estimate) requests.
• Pull platform details from designated systems.
• Support issue resolution in the PO/Supplier Portal and submit necessary corrections.
• Assist with CID and BAA content analysis and provide data insights.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience in Sourcing and Procurement
• Project Management and/or Contract Management background
• Professional certifications (Project Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Contract Management)
• Strong business acumen and passion for continuous learning
• Financial analysis capability
• Experience with SAP, ERP systems, esourcing platforms, RFQ tools, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree required
