Strategic Sourcing Specialist (onsite only)

About the Role

We’re seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to help drive smarter purchasing, stronger vendor partnerships, and disciplined spend management across the organization. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and oversee corporate travel and credit card programs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a sourcing or procurement professional who enjoys influencing business decisions, negotiating meaningful savings, and working cross-functionally to support operational excellence.

This is an onsite role and based out of Easton, PA, corporate office. Only candidates in the Easton, PA, surrounding areas will be considered


What You’ll Do

Supplier Sourcing & Strategy

  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend suppliers for corporate equipment and supplies.
  • Conduct supplier assessments focused on capability, quality, reliability, and financial stability.
  • Partner with internal teams to support supplier onboarding and transitions.

Vendor Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Resolve issues related to pricing, service performance, product quality, or delivery.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Contract Negotiation & Management

  • Negotiate pricing and terms for high-volume corporate supply items (e.g., shrink wrap, packaging materials, catalog paper).
  • Identify opportunities to shift regional purchasing into corporate-wide agreements.
  • Negotiate and manage long-term contracts for service providers, including food & beverage vendors, equipment repair services, and parcel shipping programs.

Strategic Cost Optimization

  • Consolidate decentralized purchasing into centralized sourcing strategies to increase leverage and reduce cost.
  • Analyze purchasing and spend data to uncover savings and efficiency opportunities.
  • Partner with departments to challenge legacy purchasing methods and implement better solutions.

RFP Management & Procurement Operations

  • Lead annual and bi-annual RFPs for non-inventory items (corrugate, tape, pallets, filler, shrink wrap, etc.).
  • Purchase corporate supplies and equipment while ensuring continuity of supply across all locations.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support uninterrupted operations.

Travel, Expense & Corporate Credit Card Administration

  • Manage and support the organization’s Travel & Expense program (Concur).
  • Review, process, and audit employee travel and expense submissions for accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Manage and process corporate credit card spend across multiple departments.
  • Administer the corporate credit card program, including card issuance, maintenance, user support, and policy enforcement.
  • Partner with Finance and internal teams to ensure timely reconciliation, compliance, and continuous improvement of spend controls.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with departments across the organization to understand sourcing and spend needs.
  • Provide procurement insights, contract expertise, supplier recommendations, and data-driven guidance to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, procurement, or related fields
  • Experience presenting to cross-functional teams and/or senior leadership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with Travel & Expense systems (Concur preferred)
  • AS400 experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
