Your Role at Dollar Tree:

As a Store Manager at Dollar Tree,you’llmanagethe profitable operations of your assigned store bymaintaininga high standard for merchandising, placement,andstore signage andbyusing proper display techniques to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.Yourday-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers

• Foster the growth and development of associatesthroughtraining on operations and merchandisingwhile coaching and correcting when appropriate

• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations

• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and procedures

• Perform opening and closing proceduresas needed

• Implementoperational and merchandising direction that is communicated fromour corporate headquarters

• Help your store reach its maximum profit contribution

• Protect company assets

• Maintaina high levelof customer serviceacrossthe store

• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment whilemaintainingprofessional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders

• Other duties as assigned

Your Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experienceis preferred

• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise;BIG BOX experienceis preferred

• Strong productivity management in freight processingisrequired

• Strong communication, interpersonal,and written skillsarerequired

• Ability to work in a high-energy,team environmentisrequired

• Must be able to lift between 30and50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
