Role Description
As a Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the in-store experience, inspiring a team that delights customers, and driving sales through authentic connection and exceptional service. What You’ll Do
- Lead with Hospitality & Heart
- Foster an inviting, service-first culture where every customer feels like a valued guest.
- Lead by example in delivering a warm, personalized shopping experience rooted in Southern hospitality.
- Motivate and inspire the team to exceed expectations, creating memorable moments that translate into lasting customer relationships and loyalty.
Drive Sales & Business Growth
- Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales and profitability targets.
- Leverage KPIs and business insights to drive performance and coach the team toward success.
- Build meaningful community relationships and elevate brand visibility through local outreach and events.
- Actively grow personal and storewide clientele, leading the team in proactive clienteling and follow-up strategies that build enduring customer connections.
Coach, Develop & Inspire Teams
- Train, mentor, and empower team members in brand values, product knowledge, and service excellence.
- Deliver clear, actionable feedback and recognition to inspire growth, accountability, and confidence.
- Create an environment where the team feels supported, celebrated, and motivated to perform at their best.
Ensure Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily operations with attention to detail and integrity, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and uphold all loss prevention practices.
- Ensure merchandise is beautifully presented, efficiently processed, and aligned with brand standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (business or fashion discipline a plus).
- 3–5 years of retail leadership experience, ideally in a luxury, service-focused environment.
- A natural leader who brings warmth, confidence, and authenticity to every interaction.
- A strong business acumen with the ability to balance sales goals, operational excellence, and customer-first service.
- Passion for Southern style, hospitality, and the Draper James brand.
