Grand Hyatt at SFO is a luxury hotel located at San Francisco International Airport, delivering elevated dining and event experiences with a strong commitment to cleanliness, safety, and exceptional service. Our stewarding team is essential to keeping culinary operations running smoothly—supporting restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining through behind-the-scenes excellence.
The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and service areas by washing dishes, glassware, and cookware; supporting kitchen sanitation; and assisting with back-of-house set-up and breakdown. This role ensures the availability of clean wares and a safe, organized environment for culinary and service teams.

This is an hourly position with compensation from $28.83 per hour.

· Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
· Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
· Ability to lift, push, and pull up to moderate weight and move racks/carts frequently.
· Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and teamwork.
· Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
· Prior stewarding/dishwashing or kitchen support experience (hotel/banquet environment a plus).
· Familiarity with commercial dish machines and sanitation standards.
