Pride Health is hiring a Central Sterile Processing Technician to support our client’s medical facility based in Flushing, NY 11355. This is an 8-week assignment with a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title: Central Sterile Processing Technician
Location: Flushing, NY 11355
Hourly W2 pay: $27/hr - $33/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (5x8-hour mid shift)
Start date: 06/22/2026
Responsibilities:
Decontamination, cleaning, and disinfection of surgical instruments and equipment
Assembly of instrument trays and case carts
Sterilization, wrapping, and monitoring
High-level disinfection (HLD)
Processing specialty instruments for ENT, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Plastics, and Urology
Requirements:
High school diploma
At least 1 year of central sterile processing experience
CRCST/CBSPD/HSPA certification required
Knowledge of:
Instrument identification
Autoclave and gas sterilizers
Biological and chemical indicators
Steam sterilization and monitoring
Ability to lift, pull, and push heavy equipment
Experience with any charting system
