Pride Health is hiring an Instrument Processing Tech I to support our client’s medical facility based in Jacksonville, FL 32224. This is a 13-week assignment with a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title: Instrument Processing Tech I
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32224
W2 pay: $25/hr - $30/hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri; either 06:45–15:15 or 14:45–23:15
Start date: 04/27/2026
Key Responsibilities:
Decontaminate, assemble, inspect, sterilize, store, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment
Reprocess reusable surgical tools and scopes per manufacturer guidelines
Maintain inventory and support the surgical team in sterile core activities
Completion of a vocational program in Central Service
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of instrumentation experience (hospital experience preferred)
Central Service Technician certification (CBSPD or CRCST) required
BLS certification
Basic computer skills and strong communication/interpersonal skills
