How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Validate the integrity and precision of every surgical instrument to ensure the operating room team has the high-performance tools required for successful patient outcomes.

  • Execute rigorous decontamination and sterilization protocols using advanced equipment to eliminate clinical risks and maintain a sterile environment for every procedure.

  • Coordinate the accurate assembly of complex instrument sets, utilizing tracking systems to guarantee that surgeons have exactly what they need, exactly when they need it.

  • Monitor and manage critical inventory levels to ensure seamless case cart preparation, preventing delays in the surgical schedule.

  • Champion quality excellence by conducting peer audits and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collective accountability.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the InternationalAssociation of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) Preferred.
  • Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Boardfor Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) Preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
