Directs the activities of and/or performs specialized work in a data management or statistical analysis unit or division within a state agency.
( This is NOT A REMOTE POSITION).- Responsible for the development, compilation, analysis and reporting of all SCPro information originating in the assigned eProcurement program area.
- Use business data analytic procedures for data collection and analysis of SCPro data, works with system users to develop and execute eProcurement data analysis, data integrity, and data governance for eProcurement.
- Develop and manage dashboards for data visualization for defined data analysis reports such as procurement data, contracts and spend data.
- Conduct training on the use of data analytic reports, provides business intelligence expertise to identify data statistics for driving procurement business decisions and process improvement.
- Assisting agency with analyzing SCPro reports for administrative fees, perform complex quantitative and qualitative analysis of system data.
- Manage and direct the compilation publication and presentation of statistical analysis of spend data, work with eProcurement stakeholders to manage and load data in eProcurement system.
- Develop proficiency and understanding of SCPro application to support ad-hoc reporting and assist with building ad-hoc reports, will be responsible to analyze SCPro data errors and discrepancies.
- Assist with analyzing and managing SCPro hosted and punch-out catalog data, assist with defining and documenting data needs for new SCPro reports.
- Make recommendations to utilize best practices for data analytics. Provide support to suppliers to resolve data issues, assist with resolving issues with automated data integration issues; and assist with data migration activities.
A bachelor's degree and professional experience involving the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of quantified data. A master's degree in statistics may be substituted for the required work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Knowledge of methods of research design, data collection, data manipulation, data analysis and presentation of information.
- Knowledge of applicable computer software products. Ability to analyze and interpret data using various business data analytic techniques and best practices.
- Ability to predict trends and future action based on the analysis of data collected trends. Ability to prepare and present reports, ability to communicate the results of data analysis.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to communicate effectively.
