We’re working with a well-funded, early-stage startup building AI-powered digital workers for financial compliance teams.

Their product is already being used by leading banks and fintechs to automate investigations, review transactions, and generate audit-ready outputs, reducing massive amounts of manual work.

They’re now hiring a core Product Engineer to help scale the platform.

This role requires prior experience in fintech, payments, or financial compliance.

Candidates without direct exposure to financial systems, transaction flows, or regulatory environments will not be considered.


What You’ll Do
  • Own and build product features end-to-end
  • Design and scale distributed systems + data infrastructure
  • Develop AI agents that interact with real financial workflows
  • Integrate with external data providers and financial systems
  • Ship production-ready features at high velocity (Python)
  • Work directly with founders on product and technical decisions
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong full-stack engineering background
  • Deep experience with large-scale distributed systems and data architecture
  • Proven ability to build and ship quickly in early-stage environments
  • Hands-on experience or strong interest in LLMs / AI agents
  • Mandatory domain experience in fintech, payments, or financial compliance
  • Product mindset: you think beyond code and into user impact
  • High ownership, urgency, and decision-making ability
Not a Fit If
  • You’ve primarily worked as a contractor (including via large consultancies)
  • You frequently change roles (job hopping)
  • Your experience in financial systems is limited or non-existent
Compensation & Perks
  • $200K – $250K USD base
  • Equity
