The Opportunity: Pharmacist

Pay & Compensation:

  • $125,000 - $132,500.00+ Annually (Competitive pay open to negotiation based on experience)

  • Relocation assistance will be discussed during the interview process.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Includes a rotational weekend shift.

Requirements & Experience:

  • Required: None – Open to new graduates! A valid, in good standing Oklahoma State Pharmacist license is required.

  • Preferred: Previous long-term care experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

You will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance in a supportive setting:

  • Medication Preparation: Accurately prepare, fill, order entry, and package medications for final dispensing, including review of completed orders and cycle-fill medications.

  • Verification & Interpretation: Verify the legality and pharmaceutical feasibility of dispensing drugs, checking for patient allergies and incompatibilities. Interpret prescription orders, exercising professional judgment for patient safety and legal adherence.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations and applicable guidelines for compounding.

  • Communication: Answer questions from patients, doctors, and nurses, and transfer prescriptions to other pharmacies as needed.

  • Inventory & Cost Control: Evaluate inventory, place orders when necessary, and look up the most cost-effective product for exception items. Notify customers/facilities of out-of-stock situations.

  • Supervision: Oversee the work of all pharmacy technicians and provide performance feedback to their supervisor. Log all medication error occurrences.
