Job Title: Staff Professional
Job SummaryThe Staff Professional / Staff Engineer supports engineering, geotechnical, and environmental projects through field and office-based activities. This role involves conducting field observations, material testing, data analysis, reporting, and coordination of assigned tasks. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical aptitude, attention to safety and quality, and the ability to work effectively under supervision in dynamic project environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis position involves frequent physical activity and fieldwork under varying site conditions. The role requires the ability to lift, carry, and handle equipment and materials weighing up to 100 pounds. Candidates must be able to maneuver heavy equipment including concrete wheelbarrows (150–200 lbs), soil density hammers (approximately 25 lbs), and nuclear density gauges (up to 90 lbs). Physical tasks may include swinging concrete testing devices, hand augering up to 10 feet, and excavating with hand tools.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr.
