We are partnering with a boutique accounting firm serving small to mid-sized businesses across industries like real estate, construction, and restaurants. The team offers a full suite of services including bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, and proactive tax planning.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical side of accounting and direct client interaction. You’ll play a key role in overseeing bookkeeping work, supporting tax efforts, and acting as a trusted partner to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and review work from bookkeepers to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Manage multiple client accounts across various industries
• Research and resolve financial discrepancies
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Handle payroll tax filings and sales tax reporting
• Support tax preparation and contribute to tax planning strategies
• Communicate directly with clients, providing guidance and building relationships

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication skills and client-facing confidence
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and accounts simultaneously
• Experience with corporate tax
• Background in bookkeeping and/or full-cycle accounting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or Xero
