Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant – Manufacturing Industry experience required

Location: Onsite

LHH is seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant with manufacturing industry experience to manage the entire accounting cycle for a growing organization in South Charlotte, NC. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who is comfortable owning processes end to end, working closely with operations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and cash application
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and inventory account reconciliations
• Partner with operations and production teams to ensure accurate financial data and cost controls
• Support audits, including providing schedules and documentation
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial accuracy
• Assist with additional accounting and reporting projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, with a requirement for manufacturing accounting industry experience
• Proven experience managing the entire accounting cycle
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Compensation

• $75,000 – $90,000, depending on experience
