Staff AccountantDescriptionThe role of the Staff Accountant is to manage day-to-day and monthly accounting for the assigned client base. The Staff Accountant is responsible for all transaction entry, proper communication with the client, processing payroll through a 3rd party provider, and working with the Senior Accountant and Manager on reporting. Qualifications and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:QualificationsEducation Bachelors in Accounting or FinanceSkills2-5 years experience in a bookkeeping or public accounting roleExperience with QuickBooksOnline, Studio Designer, or Xero a plusHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel with experience using advanced level formulasDemonstrates ability to stay organized when juggling multiple projects and deadlines. Demonstrates ability to communicate professionally and with the proper etiquetteTakes ownership of responsibilities Ability to work independently in a remote environmentUnderstands fundamental bookkeeping principlesComfortable with faster pace. Good with technology; Accounting Frontier works with many applications and systems.Client-facing- you will be talking with clients on a regular basis.
