Staff Accountant

Position Overview

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the accounting and finance function within a fast-paced, high-growth organization. This position will provide exposure to operational accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is bright, driven, detail-oriented, and excited to grow their career within a rapidly expanding company.

This role is perfect for an accounting professional with 2–3+ years of experience who is looking to deepen their skill set and gain hands-on experience supporting key financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with the month-end close process
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist with P&L support and analysis for operational leadership
• Maintain and track fixed asset schedules, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
• Support the preparation of internal financial reports and schedules
• Assist with account analysis and variance explanations
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support operational accounting needs
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
• Support audit preparation and documentation as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–3+ years of accounting experience in a corporate accounting or public accounting environment
• Exposure to public accounting, particularly with a Top 10 firm, is a strong plus
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
